Hey Y'all!,
Some of you may find it interesting how a typical day looks like for me. Well, let me tell you just how a day in the life of this art junky goes! Let's start at the beginning.
5:45am and the coffee is brewing and the fur babies are waking me up and ready for breakfast. MEOW! Let's EAT! The hubby usually snores right through all of this. He only sees 6am if he has a construction job to get to or is going fishing:).
After breakfast it's packing orders from the night before and getting them all out to the mailman. He loves seeing our ginger kitty on the screened in porch when he's picking up your packages.
Now that the orders are out the door it's time to cut and sew and sew some more. Depending on what has sold determines what I'm making for restock. Occasionally I have time to design new bags. I love this part of my job even though it can be super time consuming. It starts with a sketch and goes from there.
By lunchtime I'm starving but usually fix a salad or a light snack and have it at my cutting table. Back to work within a few minutes. All day long the true crime shows are going in the background. The hubby swears I'm trying to figure out a way to get rid of him:).
Work, work, work till 4pm and by then I'm ready to stop. I hang on the screened in porch while Mr. Swirls (kitty) sits in my lap and we listen to the waves breaking on the beach until the hubby has supper cooked. I keep him around just for those fantastic suppers! The man should have been a CHEF!
After supper it's sourcing materials and then getting ready for a good night's rest and then praying to Jesus y'all will buy something else:). Sleep and get up and do it all over again.
